The CHANCE® Proximity Voltage Indicator was designed meet the requests of utility and line crews who require a non-contact (or proximity) voltage detector.To meet this need, Bevins developed a safe and consistent PVI that uses nanotechnology to allow linemen to make diagnostic measurements of the electromagnetic fields developed around AC energized conductors.Designed to offer a proximity electric field intensity meter for voltages above 480 volts, and a near-field sensing device for voltages below 480 volts.FEATURES & DETAILS

CUTTING EDGE FEATURE: USER-DEFINED OPTIONTo prevent nuisance audibles in known voltage situations the PVI provides a new User-Defined Option that temporarily disables indications and alarm for voltages below the user's selected range.The sensing LED continues to function normally in both modes.
