01 Journeyman Electrician

800 MHz Group is seeking an 01 Licensed Electrician DAS Field Technician/Installer for this important work.

• Learn this rapidly growing and evolving technology from the cable install to the repeater turn-up.
• We are currently installing/servicing sites all over Western Washington. Especially in King, Pierce, Snohomish and Kitsap counties.

Requirements:

• Reading blue prints, running conduit, wiring devices, troubleshooting, and performing quality control testing.
• Installation of components and connectors (Cat5/6, RF Cabling, Splitters and Antennas).
• Experienced with grounding systems and equipment.
• Reading and interpreting mechanical, architectural and electrical drawings and code specifications for determining wiring layouts.
• Performing upgrades or preventive maintenance to low voltage electrical control systems.
• Running tests, isolating problems, replacing damaged section of wiring, laying conduit, and performing other tasks as required.
• Work on various projects without supervision.
• Work overhead from a ladder.
• GROL license is a plus but not required.

Qualifications:

• Technical degree preferred but not required.
• Construction environment experience preferred.
• Experience in IT, Cable, Electrical, RF and/or Telecommunications fields is a plus.
• Knowledge of the terminology used in the in-building Distributed Antenna System (DAS) Industry.
• Ability to thrive in a dynamic and rapidly changing work environment.
• Strong analytical and problem solving capabilities.
• Must be able to build strong relationships with end customers.
• Good driving record and valid drivers license.
• Demonstrated ability to use basic hand and power tools needed for installation projects.
  • We provide the Specialty Tools, you will need to have your own basic hand tools.
