Delta Star, Inc. | Delta Star, Inc. Announces Grand Opening of Newly Expanded, State-Of-The-Art Winding Room at Quebec Facility

(LYNCHBURG, Va., Dec. 11, 2019) – Delta Star, Inc. announced today the grand opening of the newly expanded, state-of-the-art winding room at Delta Star North located in Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu, Quebec, Canada. The expansion will provide updated technology and equipment to increase production at the plant by approximately 50 percent.

“The completed renovations at Delta Star North will provide alignment with all three of our facilities, giving our customers and Delta Star more flexibility,” said Jason Greene, Delta Star’s President and CEO. “Continual improvement is vital for Delta Star as we strive towards stronger market leadership in the power transformer and mobile substation industry.”

Delta Star acquired the transformer factory in Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu in August of 2015. The plant provided Delta Star’s customers with a third location to build power transformers, while increasing not only Delta Star’s market presence, but also its transformer capability.
