Craver became chairman and chief executive officer of Edison International in 2008, and before that he was chairman and chief executive officer of one of its subsidiaries, Edison Mission Group, from 2005 until 2008. Previous to that, he held the position of executive vice president and chief financial officer from 2000 to 2004.
Before joining Edison in 1996, Craver was executive vice president and corporate treasurer of First Interstate Bancorp from 1991 to 1996. In that role, he was responsible for corporate development, treasury, and sales and trading of investment and insurance products. While there, Craver also served as executive vice president and chief financial officer of the wholesale banking subsidiary from 1986 to 1991.
Before joining First Interstate, he spent four years with Bankers Trust Company of New York and seven years with Security Pacific National Bank in various capital markets sales and trading capacities.
