About the Role

The Electricity Forum Training Institute (EFTI) is looking for experienced, passionate Electrical Training Instructors to deliver live-online training sessions to professionals across Canada and the U.S. This is a remote, contract-based role ideal for subject matter experts who enjoy teaching and sharing knowledge.

As part of our instructor team, you'll teach high-impact electrical safety and technical training courses via Zoom or MS Teams to industrial, commercial, and institutional audiences.

Responsibilities

Deliver virtual training sessions on specialized electrical subjects (see list below)
Engage participants using industry examples, case studies, and interactive Q&A
Customize course content to suit each session's audience and learning needs
Maintain up-to-date technical knowledge aligned with CSA/NEC/NFPA standards
Collaborate with EFTI team to continuously improve course delivery quality

Qualifications

Proven experience as a trainer, technical instructor, or senior electrical professional
Strong knowledge of electrical safety standards (e.g., CSA Z462, NFPA 70E)
Comfortable delivering live-online training via Zoom/MS Teams
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Bilingual (English/French) is a plus but not required
