Facility Electrician

Located on the southeast facing side of Oregon's highest mountain, Mt. Hood Meadows Ski Resort offers some of the most spectacular skiing and snowboarding in the Northwest. Our highest lift serves up to an elevation of 7,300 feet offering a panoramic view to the east and south wilderness.  The Facilities Electrician at Mt. Hood Meadows ensures the safety and reliability of the electrical systems throughout the resort performing both preventative and unscheduled maintenance projects. The electrician will be involved in training apprentices and providing guidance and direction to the maintenance team in electrical related work.

This is a full-time, year-round position and includes employer paid base medical, dental, vision, and life insurance as well as all the perks of working at Mt. Hood Meadows and Cooper Spur Mtn. Resort including a ride pass for the team member and qualifying dependents.

Minimum Base Starting Wages: DOE

LME: $33.82

Plant Journeyman: $44.72

*Higher licensures will be considered, and base wage altered commensurate with license and experience. *

Qualifications and Experience S

·         19 years of age or older for insurance purposes

·         5 years of experience in electrical field or equivalent education

·         Current or ability to obtain LME, Plant Journeyman, or General Journeyman in the state of Oregon

·         Ability to be insured to operate company vehicles

·         Ability to perform in all weather conditions including extreme winter weather temperatures

·         Must be comfortable with the changing dynamics of a seasonal business
