Electrician Journeyman / Senior Mechanic
Valente Electrical Contracting Corp. is looking for an Electrician Journeyman / Senior Mechanic with 7+ years of experience for commercial/government projects located mainly in Nassau and Suffolk County with some territory in the surrounding Tri-State area.
Responsibilities:
- Conduit bending and threading
- Circuitry
- Lighting installations
- Service work
- Wire pulling
- Low voltage (CAT VI, COAX, Fire Alarm, etc.)
- Must follow all PPE and Safety protocols
- The ability to read blueprints, layout and install without major supervision
- Understanding of the NEC
Requirements:
- Must be knowledgeable of all NYS codes and be able to navigate a code book and PSE&G Red book.
- Journeyman Electrician of 7+ years or more
- Must have own basic tools
- Must work well with others and be energetic
- Must have strong organizational skills and a strong work ethic
- Clean Driver's License (Required) and good driving record
- Speak English fluently (Required)
- Work authorization in United States (Required)
- High school diploma or equivalent (Preferred)
