Project Manager

EPTCON is recruiting for a Project Manager to join our various project sites throughout Ontario. Reporting to the President, you will work closely with EPTCON’s team delivering high voltage electrical contracting services. EPTCON will consider qualified candidates from across Canada for this role.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assist in contract negotiations;
  • Manage projects from award to completion;
  • Liaise with clients and engineers;
  • Prepare RFI’s (request for information);
  • Prepare and process necessary change orders;
  • Oversee site activities to ensure highest quality and safety obligations are met;
  • Monitor site subcontractors;
  • Procurement Assistance;
  • Develop project schedules and milestones and monitor progress and status;
  • Provide progress reports, schedule and cost tracking to Management as required;
  • Track all project costs to ensure completion within budget; and,
  • Other duties and responsibilities as required.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 5+ years Project Management / Project Supervision experience;
  • Must have EPC experience;
  • High voltage construction/power sector experience;
  • Proven leadership and management skills with a strong technical background;
  • Strong computer skills, including a working knowledge of scheduling (MS Project), (Word) and (Excel) software applications, etc.;
  • Excellent organization, time management and negotiation skills; and,
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a commitment to customer satisfaction.
