E-broadcast Specifications

We insert your HTML code into an e-broadcasting program template. For best results, please provide hand-coded HTML file or files created with the help of WYSIWYG (what you see is what you get) HTML editors (Dreamweaver, Adobe GoLive, Front Page, ColdFusion, CoffeeCup). An e-mail advertising is best viewed with 600 to 800 pixel width. We DO NOT recommend using background images and image maps in your HTML ads, as they are not guaranteed to display correctly in HTML embedded in the e-mail. Please be advised that JavaScripts and embedded objects are NOT acceptable.

We also accept HTML files produced with the help of AdobePhotoshop and Macromedia Fireworks in the event your advertisement is presented as a single image cut into slices.

When submitting your HTML file, please do not embed it in your e-mail message, always send it as an attachment.

Please, DO NOT produce HTML files in MS Office applications (MS Word, Excel etc.) which do not offer correct conversion of the .doc file into .html.

PLEASE ALWAYS provide a plain text copy of the announcement ALONG with your HTML or other format graphic-rich layout. Some email subscribers cannot accept HTML format and in order that your advertisement reach these subscribers as well, we send an alternative plain text format of your announcement. Please provide plain text copy of your ad saved as a .TXT file (create text in Notepad). Contact our office at 905-686-1040 for more details.
