JOMAR’s Utility Management System integrates the internet, mobile software, dashboards, resource planning, utility scheduling, engineering management, operations management, purchasing, inventory and warehouse control, field services and vehicle fleet management. The resource planning board is integrated with the utility schedule board that provides shared views of real-time department schedules for projects, jobs, crews, work orders, purchase orders, transportation, assembly manufacturing and maintenance.
Work order management and costing provide data for cost allocations to projects, jobs, equipment, vehicles and fixed assets. Financial management includes general ledger, accounts receivable, accounts payable, budgeting, financial statement generation and replacement of third party customer accounting and customer information systems.
JOMAR also integrates third party software such as GPS, GIS, map viewer and meter reading.
The Utility Management System has the scope, functionality and scaleability for small to large utility operations. JOMAR’s IT software infrastructure supports mergers of utility companies as separate ‘business units’ within a utility corporation.
