- Arc duration A good indication of dielectric condition
- Mechanism time Relative to mechanism speed, from full closed to full open positions
- Maximum Fault Current Each operation, by phase
- Contact interrupting duty Accumulated I*T or I2T, by phase
- Restrike Detection Per ANSI C37.100
- Operation Counts Alarm & No Operations Alarm
The OPTImizer+ is most beneficial for older oil-type circuit breakers, but can be used on all types. It continuously monitors and provides visual indication at the breaker, or in the control house, as well as remote indication via an analog signal to SCADA. Programming and remote monitoring of OPTImizer+ data is easily accomplished via its RS232 port. Installation is non-invasive and simple.
