The TriMod 300 Series Vacuum Recloser raises the standard of recloser performance by incorporating a unique combination of state-of-the-art vacuum interrupter technology. In fact, this revolutionary recloser effectively doubles the duty cycle required by the ANSI C.37.60.

The TriMod 300 utilizes patented JOSLYTE solid-dielectric insulation system which provides long-life insulation around the vacuum interrupter. JOSLYTE is a non-hydroscopic, closed cell dielectric foam which minimized environmental and reliability problems associated with typical oil and gas insulators.

The following advanced, field-proven features make the TRIMOD 300 Series Vacuum Recloser the long-life, easy-to-use solution:

Long-Life Vacuum Interrupters
Provide twice (2x) the duty cycle required by ANSI C.37.60

Long-Life Mechanism
Solenoid operating mechanism used to open and close the vacuum contacts in the TRIMOD delivers 10,000 mechanical operations.

Externally Mounted Modular Design
Identical pole design enables individual pole replacement of current transformers without any adjustments to the mechanism.

Solid Dielectric Insulation
Field-proven JOSLYTE foam provides superior mechanical support and moisture sealing around the vacuum interrupter and is environmentally friendly.

Virtually Maintenance-Free Operation
Designed for simple field reparability upgradability.

The TriMod 300 can be used with the 351J or Faultmaster 2500 electronic control. The microprocessor-based controls provide a full range of recloser of distribution automation applications.
