COURSE DESCRIPTION

The course provides an overview of industrial measurement and smart sensors and their control. Engineers, technicians and managers will gain a basic understanding of common terminology, practices and applications dealing with smart sensors, industrial communication and process control.

The material prepared is designed to inform electrical and non-electrical technologists and engineers on the basics of smart sensors and how they are integrated in many of today's industries.

Several of the course sections explains the fundamentals of process control and industrial measurement techniques and tools are used

Extensive presentation of the fundamentals of logic circuits and distributed control systems are included, with the focus on trade definitions and standards.

The course introduces the basics of Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC) operation and programming as well as the basics of Human Machine Interface (HMI)

Cancellation and Refund Policy

Registration fees are refundable only upon receipt of written notification 10 days prior to the conference date, less a 10 per cent service charge. Substitution of participants is permissible.
The Electricity Forum reserves the right to cancel any conference it deems necessary and will, in such event, make a full refund of the registration fees.
