was founded
in 1985 as an Engineering and Consulting firm, with
the mission of providing engineering and research
assistance to companies needing to improve their
competitive edge using technology.
In 1988, SensorLink was approached by a power
utility with a request to develop a device that
would eliminate the mechanical clamp from
measurements of current. An inductive sensor was
developed that used no magnetic materials and had no
moving parts. The opening of the sensor is
electronically closed and external currents are also
electronically rejected. Accuracy, external current
reject, and range of currents measured substantially
exceed the best clamp-on sensors. The result is the
patented sensor that is used in almost all
SensorLink products. Today, thousands of SensorLink
meters and recorders are in service worldwide.

Mtech’s
industrial power and process instrumentation
provides the perfect reliability and
maintainability. Their products provide solutions
through analog and digital technology in real-time
and have done so for more than 25 years.”
Mtech is a registered trade name for Measurement
Technologies, Ltd, proven leader in the manufacture,
design, sales and service of both quality power and
process instrumentation. Mtech was formed in 2000 by
purchasing the measurement products group of
Hathaway Process Instrumentation. Their products
have previously sold under such recognized names as
Hathaway, Wodex and Promac.
The products offered by Mtech are specialized in two
groups, the measurement of power parameters and
process variables. The power parameters provide data
in either analog or digital formats used by
operators, engineers and maintenance personnel at
facilities where power analysis is required. Process
variables measured by signal conditioners, signal
transmitters and isolators are utilized in virtually
every type of process plant in the world.
Temperature, pressure, frequency and AC/DC voltages
are measured, with the gathered information being
converted to linear outputs then transmitted for
vital control room operating and maintenance
decisions.

PPM’s
product line includes a Nullmeter; portable and
rack-mounted voltmeters; ohmmeters from the milliohm
to the teraohm ranges including bond meters, ground
bond meters and ground resistance testers; a line of
very low noise power supplies; a variety of signal
conditioners – stand-alone and computer controlled;
high-power and high-current DC electronic loads; and
electrical safety testers.
Low resistance ohm meters (micro- and milliohm
meters) have application specific names such as bond
meters, bondmeters, dlro, digital low resistance
meter, safety ohmmeter, safety ohm meter, aircraft
bond meter, aircraft ohmmeter.
High resistance meters measure leakage currents,
dielectric integrity insulation resistance from 50
volts to 1000 volts and up to 200 gigohms.
Electrical safety testers perform electrical
compliance testing on appliances, motors, etc.
incorporating hipot, insulation resistance and
leakage current tests in one instrument.
Electronic power loads are used for fuel cell,
battery, generator, power supply and other
electrical source testing.
PPM’s multi channel source is used for applications
such as a multi channel power supply, isolated multi
channel source, transducer excitation source, and
are excellent for use with data acquisition systems
for transducer, strain gage excitation source.
